United Pharmacy is an independently owned retail pharmacy that caters to its’ patients. Student pharmacists will have the opportunity to participate in a variety of pharmaceutical activities, including, but not limited to: compounding, diabetic counseling, DME counseling, and patient counseling. Students will perform the daily duties of a retail pharmacist along side two pharmacists and a fun, energetic staff. The pharmacists also provide Consulting Services to a local Assisted Living Center and Nursing Home that the student will be able to visit. The rotation will provide the student with a better understanding of the different services an independent pharmacist provides and experience both behind and in front of the counter.
