Daily Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
This rotation is designed to provide the student with direct patient care in a clinic setting. The patient population consists of cardiac rehab patients. The student will gain experience providing drug/disease state education to patients. The student will also participate in the management of that patients drug therapy. This includes monitoring of all issues related to his or her disease state and drug therapy, and making appropriate recommendations to the patient’s physician. The student will also participate in a monthly lecture given to all of the program patients on medications.
