Chad Ramirez
Mr.
Ramirez is originally from Chandler, Arizona. He moved
to Weatherford in 1991 to attend college and rodeo
for SWOSU. Chad received his
Recreational Leadership degree in 1993. During and
after his college career, Chad competed in professional
rodeo. In 1996, Chad went to work
in Paris, France at Disneyland Paris. He performed
in a live dinner theatre show called Buffalo Bill's
Wild West Show. In the show he worked as a cowboy /
stunt man / gunfighter / trick roper / trick rider / wagon
driver. After leaving France, Chad returned to SWOSU
to complete his Master of Education degree in HPER.
During this period, he served as a rodeo graduate
assistant. He obtained his Masters in Education
degree in 2001. Currently, Chad is the head rodeo coach
and an instructor in the Parks
and Recreation Management Department.
