Dr. Jim Davis
Dr. Jim Davis completed a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree at Oklahoma State University’s College of Osteopathic Medicine where he also serves as an adjunct faculty member. He also holds a B.S. in Safety, a second B.S. in Physics, and a Master’s Degree in Industrial Management from Southeastern Oklahoma State University. Dr. Davis is in a solo, private Family Medicine practice in Norman, OK. He has experience practicing family and emergency medicine. He is CLEET certified and serves as a Tactical Physician and active member of the SWAT team for the Oklahoma County Sheriff’s Office. As a member of the Oklahoma County Sheriff’s Office, he also assists the United States Marshall’s Service each week serving high risk warrants via the multi agency task force known as the Metro Fugitive Squad. He has also served as a Special Deputy US Marshall working during Operation Falcon for the USMS. He is a pilot and an avid outdoorsman whose interests include hunting, mountaineering, flying, and SCUBA diving. Dr. Davis teaches Tactical Medicine and Wilderness Medicine for the PRM Department.
