Josh Williams
Josh Williams currently serves as a Wildfire Prevention Technician with the U.S. Department of the Interior, Bureau of Indian Affairs, Concho Agency Fire Management Office, a position he has held since 2004.
Prior to this appointment Josh served as an Emergency Wildland Firefighter with the BIA for 3 years.
Mr. Williams holds a bachelors degree in Business Management from the University of Central Oklahoma and a Master of Education degree in Parks and Recreation Management. He has also completed ecosystem management courses through Utah State University and Colorado State University.
Josh has taken numerous wildland fire related courses and holds instructor status from the National Wildfire Coordinating Group.
He responds to wildland fire details nationwide, with his most recent assignment being a prescribed fire detail in south-central Florida where he obtained Prescribed Fire Burn Boss qualification.
He is also an adjunct professor at SWOSU instructing all the wildland fire management courses offered through the Parks and Recreation Department.
