2009 Registration

For online registration, your $40 payment and six-digit Receipt Number is required. Payment should be made by credit card by calling the SWOSU Business Office at 580-774- 3019 with your credit card information. Please ask for the six-digit Receipt Number, which you will need to complete this online registration. The actual receipt is mailed upon request. Seating is limited.

Alternative ways to pre-pay:

1. Take your payment to the SWOSU Business Office on the 1st Floor of the main hall in the Administration Building. Bring your receipt to the Assessment Center to verify payment.

2. Mail your $40 check or money order, specifying that the payment is for the ACT Residual. You and the Assessment Center will each receive a copy of a receipt and Receipt Number in the mail a few days later, at which time you may register. Please mail your payment to the following address:

ONLY students who plan to attend Southwestern may test. Test scores cannot be transferred to another institution. No Student Reports or High School Reports are generated to report scores to ANY other college or scholarship agency.

For admission to the test, payment must be confirmed and student MUST present current photo ID (driver's license, state ID, or SWOSU ID). Testing location is the Assessment Center at 224 W. College in Weatherford unless otherwise posted on the front door of the Assessment Center. Please arrive by 12:50 p.m. Testing begins promptly at 1:00 p.m. and is completed at approximately 5:00 p.m.

LATE ARRIVALS CANNOT BE ADMITTED!

Test scores will be transmitted to the Registrar/Admissions office following each test administration. ACT Residual scores will be made part of your record at SWOSU once application has been made to this university.

A full refund is available for cancellations prior to 24 hours before the test.

There is a $10 re-scheduling or cancellation fee if requested within 24 hours before the test.

ACT POLICY

ACT requires a 60-day waiting period between residual examinations.
You may take the ACT no more than 12 times total. If you have a need to test more than 12 times, go to www.actstudent.org for details on how to request consideration of an exception.
Most calculators are now permitted for use on all ACT examinations. Unacceptable calculator models are: TI-89, TI-92, HP 49G, HP 50G, Algebra FX 2.0, ClassPad 300, all model numbers that begin CFX- 9970G
