Adventure Programs

SWOSU operates five residential group homes in partnership with the Office of Juvenile Affairs located at Foss Lake, Crowder Lake, Lawton, Enid, and Lake Tenkiller.

Center for Economic and Business Development (CEBD)

The Center for Economic & Business Development (CEBD) serves western Oklahoma by conducting economic research, building strategic alliances, promoting small business growth, and pursuing projects to strengthen and diversify the regional and state economies.

Crowder Lake University Park

Crowder Lake University Park offers students several activities including fishing, canoeing, and sailing. The park also houses a ropes course complete with rapelling tower and climbing wall. Crowder Lake is also the home to the Cedar Canyon Adventure Program.

Distance Learning

Distance Learning Program is charged with identifying, and supporting nontraditional methods and technologies to deliver courses, programs, degrees, and certification programs to students at a distance.

Upward Bound

Upward Bound helps students prepare for higher education. Participants receive instruction in literature, composition, foreign language, mathematics, and science on college campuses after school, on Saturdays and during the summer.
