University Development Fund Policy

Section I

Purpose

To allow for the proper promotion of the University's mission, the University Development Account is established as a part of the Auxiliary Services Fund.

Section II

Procedure

The University Development fund is to be used to promote the general purposes and goals of the University and the University community. These funds may be used for any lawful purpose, including, but not limited to employee awards, travel, operating expenses, promotional items and events, guest speakers, and/or other expenses as deemed appropriate by the President.

Adequate documentation will be maintained by the Director of Business Affairs to support all expenditures, and this account will be subject to the normal operating procedures established by Southwestern Oklahoma State University.
