Constitution Day 2005
As a part of a week-long celebration of Constitution Day at Southwestern, a Constitution Day Forum was help on September 13, 2005, at 7:00 PM in the Fine Arts Auditorium.
President John Hays welcomed the audience.
Mr. Randy Beutler, history adjunct faculty member served as the moderator.
Panelists included Dr. Dan Brown, political science, Donna Barlow, criminal justice and sociology, and Dr. Fred Gates, history.
All panelists are faculty members in the Department of Social Sciences. The forum focused on contemporary issues related to the Supreme Court.
This was the first ever celebration of the congressionally-mandated event.
