- The American Association of University Women (AAUW) is hosting a multi-family garage sale on Saturday, June 2, at 1212 Birch Street in Weatherford to raise funds for SWOSU scholarships.

- Diane Hunter of Edmond recently completed a $25,000 pledge to the Southwestern Oklahoma State University Foundation that will benefit a lectureship already established in her name that supports the SWOSU Department of Psychology in Weatherford.

- Southwestern Oklahoma State University art student Rush Prigmore of Oklahoma City (Putnam City) will have an opening reception for his senior art exhibition, Life is an Onion, on Tuesday, May 22, from 4–7 PM at the SWOSU Art Gallery on the Weatherford campus.
