1) To support SWOSU veterans, active duty or reserve military service members, military dependents and/or spouses in their transition to the college environment and to civilian life.

2) To provide an environment of support where veterans, active or reserve military service members, military dependents and/or spouses can come together and relate to each other.

3) To assist SWOSU veterans, active duty or reserve military service members, military dependents and/or spouses in the process of obtaining earned veteran benefits.

VETS CODE OF ETHICS 

I. I will work hard to build trust and credibility for the VETS organization.

II. I will respect my fellow VETS members and treat each and every member with the upmost respect.

III. I will help create a culture of open and honest communication within the VETS organization.

IV. I will strive to set the bar at the top, setting the example for other members.

V. I will uphold the standards of this organization.
