The curriculum in the Industrial and Engineering Technology Department allows for a variety of exciting opportunities in Engineering Technology, Industrial Technology, and Technology Education Certification for Oklahoma secondary schools. Our Manufacturing program within the Engineering Technology Bachelor of Science degree is currently accredited by the Technology Accreditation Commission of the Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology (TAC/ABET), 111 Market Place, Suite 1050, Baltimore, MD 21202-4012 -telephone: (410) 347-7700. The Industrial Technology Bachelor of Science degree is currently accredited by the National Association of Industrial Technology (NAIT), www.nait.org.
The SWOSU Industrial and Engineering Technology Department is the only school in Oklahoma to have programs accredited by TAC/ABET and NAIT.
