How FIRST Tech Challenge (FTC) Works

  • FTC Provides an affordable , accessible opportunity to participate in FIRST Robotics.
  • Designed for high-school-aged young people, with up to 10 people per team. 
  • Adult coaches & mentors through teachers, parents, community volunteers.
  • Schools, home schools, after-school groups, churches, & civic groups.
  • Tournament Structure – Sports Like event with Alliances, Judges & Awards.
  • Winners eligible for national competition
