Les Crall, J.D.

Les Crall

Dr. Les Crall is a Professor in the School of Business and Technology at Southwestern Oklahoma State University. He has been at Southwestern Oklahoma State University since 1992. In 2003 he was awarded the Bernhardt Professorship acknowledging academic excellence at SWOSU. He also was selected with the Weatherford Daily News Readers’ Choice Award in 2004, as the outstanding university professor. He has been selected numerous times to the Who’s Who Among College and University Professors. Most recently in 2008 he was awarded the “Brandy Award – Faculty Member of the Year” by a vote of the students.

Dr. Crall has been the Student Government Association (SGA) Faculty Advisor since 1998. He is currently the Associate Dean for the Dobson School of Business and Technology. His primary teaching emphases are in the areas of legal issues affecting businesses and business owners. He has authored numerous publications and presentations relative to legal issues effecting business. He also serves as a consultant evaluator and member of the Accreditation Review Committee for the Higher Learning Commission of North Central. He is the SWOSU coordinator for the Reach Higher Program, aka the adult degree completion program.

Dr. Crall received his B.S. degree in Accounting and Computer Science, and an MBA degree from Southwestern Oklahoma State University. He received his Law degree from the University of Oklahoma in 1983. He is currently a member of the Oklahoma and Custer County Bar Associations as well as a Certified Public Accountant. He is active in the Weatherford Area Chamber of Commerce Education Committee as well as the Weatherford Rotary Club.
