In most states, graduates who apply for a pharmacist license are required to take the Multistate Pharmacy Jurisprudence Examination (MPJE). This exam covers legal and regulatory aspects of pharmacy. Students may take this exam any time after graduation, consequently, the number of candidates taking the exam (as reported above) may not correlate to the actual number of graduates each year. This data is for first-time test takers only and may include graduates taking the exam for more than one state.
