SWOSU Theatre Season Closing with Showcases
Southwestern Oklahoma State University’s Department of Art, Communication and Theatre is closing the 2017-2018 theatre season with a showcase of work. Performances and theatrical design displays are at 7:30 p.m. nightly on April 14, 16 and 17 and Sunday, April 15, at 3 p.m. in the SWOSU Hilltop Theatre.
Admission is free.
Students involved in the showcase are: William Appel, Calgary, Alberta Canada; Grant Crews, Okarche; Hannah Detweiler, Thomas; Alex Hawkins, Mangum; Daniel McGuire, Grove; Isabelle Moad, Erick; Jacob Moore, El Reno; Lupita Mora, Marble Falls, TX; Kendra Place, Washington; Chante Randle, Oklahoma City; Chandler Seaton, Stroud; and Ceirra Sorrells, Antlers.
Each performance will be comprised of three short plays/cuttings. There is a mixture of comedy and drama between the three. The performances, projects and designs are completely student-produced. They are under the guidance of theatre faculty members Jessica Salmans and Steve P. Strickler.
