Wildfire Relief Executive Order Signed by Lt. Governor
Oklahoma Lieutenant Governor Todd Lamb (right), serving as acting governor on April 16, signed an executive order lifting weight and oversize restrictions on vehicles in order to bring in larger equipment and supplies for wildfire relief (utility repairs, feed, fuel and food) in western Oklahoma. With Lt. Gov. Lamb is Southwestern Oklahoma State University President Randy Beutler. The U.S. Forestry Service has set up an Incident Command Center and staging area at the Pioneer Cellular Event Center on the SWOSU campus in Weatherford.
