SWOSU Sending Out 44 Student Teacher Candidates
Southwestern Oklahoma State University’s Department of Education in Weatherford is sending out 44 teacher candidates to work with approximately 60 cooperating teachers from 47 different schools in Oklahoma, North Carolina and Texas. The candidates are doing their practice teaching assignments from February 4 through April 26.
Seven of the teacher candidates are majoring in early childhood education, 17 in elementary education, two in English education, two in history education, five in health/physical education, one in math education, one in instrumental music education, one in science education and eight in special education.
