
OKC Philharmonic to Kick Off SWOSU Panorama Series
The OKC Philharmonic will kick off Southwestern Oklahoma State University’s 2019-20 Panorama Series on Friday, September 13, on the Weatherford campus.
The 7:30 p.m. concert will be held in the Fine Arts Center on the SWOSU campus.
Ticket are $10 and available on stubwire.com at https://share.swosu.edu/OKCPhil or in the SWOSU Public Relations & Marketing Office, Room 205 of the Administration Building. A limited number of $5 tickets are available for purchase by SWOSU students in the PR & Marketing Office.
The OKC Philharmonic was formed in 1988 under the musical direction of Founder and Music Director Emeritus Joel Levine and began a new era with the passing of the baton to Maestro Alexander Mickelthwate in 2018.
The program at SWOSU will include:
*Kilpatrick – American Indian Serenade
*Arutunian – Trumpet Concerto (Matilda Lloyd, trumpet)
*Beethoven – Symphony No. 5
