Lock-In Game Night Planned November 8 to Benefit CMNH
Southwestern Oklahoma State University’s Computer Club will hold its 7th annual Extra Life Lock-In fundraising game night on Friday, November 8.
The event will be held in the Pioneer Cellular Event Center to benefit the Children’s Miracle Network Hospital (CMNH) in Oklahoma City. The event starts on November 8 at 6 p.m. and continues until 6 a.m. on Saturday morning.
The SWOSU Computer Club will provide food and drinks. Fun games will be played throughout the night for the good cause, according to Computer Club co-sponsor Hayden Harrington. Attendees must be 18 years or older. Participants do not have to be SWOSU students to attend. It is open to the public.
Entry fee is $15 and is recommended to be donated online. To donate, go to the “SWOSU Computer Club” donation page link below and donate by November 8.
There will be several game tournaments held by different student organizations. 2 vs. 2 Halo: Master Chief Collection, Super Smash Bros. on Switch, and Towerfall will be held by SWOSU Computer Club to name a few. There will also be tabletop games (board, card, etc.) that
will be available to rent out for free using the org’s licenses.
It is the attendee’s responsibility to bring everything they need to play once tournament play is done (i.e. screens, games, game consoles, computers, etc.). For more info, contact Harrington at 580.774.3751 or email@example.com.
