SWOSU Symphony Orchestra Concert Planned November 19

The SWOSU Symphony Orchestra will present its final concert of the fall semester on Tuesday, November 19, on the Weatherford campus.

The 7 p.m. concert will be held in the Fine Arts Center. Admission is free, and the public is invited.

Featured include trumpet soloist Dr. Richard Tirk and clarinet soloist Dr. Stacey DiPaolo. Tirk will perform Haydn's Trumpet Concerto in E-flat major and DiPaolo will perform Mozart's Clarinet Concerto in A major.

“You don't want to miss the opportunity to hear great performances from our own SWOSU music faculty,” said SWOSU Symphony Orchestra Conductor Dr. Alex Lee.

The orchestra will also perform Rimsky-Korsakov's Scheherazade, mvt II (One Thousand and One Night), and Holst's Jupiter from The Planets.
