Administrative Issues Journal Reaches 50,000 downloads on SWOSU Digital Commons
The Administrative Issues Journal, based at Southwestern Oklahoma State University in Weatherford, has reached a milestone of 50,000 downloads.
The AIJ is a double-blind, peer-reviewed scholarly journal, which is an interdisciplinary publication that covers multidisciplinary issues in administration, containing articles in: business administration, health care administration, education administration, nursing administration and public administration.
Dr. Todd Wiggen, assistant professor in SWOSU’s Everett Dobson School of Business and Technology, serves as the editor in chief.
Wiggen said downloads of the 259 articles on the SWOSU Digital Commons were done from 4,184 institutions in 188 countries since April 22, 2016, when SWOSU started uploading the journal to the digital repository. Countries with the highest number of downloads are the United States, Philippines, United Kingdom, India and South Africa.
AIJ published its first edition in 2011 and was started by Dr. Tami Moser, who is now a faculty member in the College of Pharmacy. The AIJ is a double-blind, peer-reviewed journal, published on Scholastica (https://aij.scholasticahq.com/) and archived on the SWOSU
Digital Commons. More information can be found at https://www.swosu.edu/academics/aij/index.aspx.
