SWOSU Plans Naming Contest for Bookstore and Convenience Store
In order to return excellent customer service to the Southwestern Oklahoma State University community, the university is taking back management of the bookstore and combining it with the convenience store this summer.
SWOSU is seeking a new name for the complex located in Mann Hall, and a naming contest among SWOSU students starts January 22 and ends February 4.
The winner of the contest will receive their choice of an Apple or Dell product up to $1,300 or a $1,300 tuition waiver. Second place finisher will win their choice of an Apple or Dell product up to $650 or a $650 tuition waiver, and third place winner will win their choice of an Apple or Dell product up to $300 or a $300 tuition waiver.
Students can submit up to two names on Canvas, the university’s learning management system.
If the same winning name is submitted by numerous students, the winning person will be the one that submitted it first on Canvas.
