Five SWOSU Students Win $1,000 Pink Friday Scholarships
Five Southwestern Oklahoma State University students at Weatherford each recently won $1,000 scholarships from a Pink Friday Weekend promotion sponsored by participating Weatherford Towne Centre merchants.
Winners were: Holland Carter, Ryan; Camille Goerend, Weatherford; Rebekah Jordan, Ninnekah; Turner Pease, Weatherford; and Samantha Wells, Anadarko.
SWOSU students registered for the scholarships at participating businesses with no purchase necessary. The scholarships were made possible by the SWOSU Foundation, Inc.
