SWOSU Jazz Festival Concerts are Thursday and Friday

Southwestern Oklahoma State University’s 51st annual SWOSU Jazz Festival is being held virtually this Thursday and Friday, February 11-12.

The concert zoom link is open to the public and free of charge. Headliner for this year’s event is Texas drummer Stockton Helbing and his bandmates pianist Josh Hanlon and bassist James Driscoll. They will be featured at Thursday’s 7 p.m. concert. Friday’s 8 p.m. livestream concert will feature the SWOSU Jazz Ensembles 'A' and 'B' and music written and arranged by Helbing plus several great standards.
