Forum for Racial Awareness and Social Change Planned at SWOSU

Southwestern Oklahoma State University in Weatherford is hosting an O.U.R. Conversation Workshop this Wednesday, March 24, from 11 a.m.-12 noon and again on April 8 from 11 a.m.-12 noon.

The purpose of the workshop is to create a space for members of the SWOSU community to discuss race and racial matters logically and intelligently.

Natasha Tinsley, assistant professor in the SWOSU Language and Literature Department, said the two installations for this semester will focus on the question: What is a racist? Both workshops will be conducted through zoom.
