Area Businesses Can Connect with Potential Employees at SWOSU Job Fair
Are you a Weatherford-area business having a problem finding workers to fill open positions?
Southwestern Oklahoma State University students return to campus in mid-August and that means a fresh crop of potential employees. Weatherford Works is being launched this year to help connect students and area employers.
Weatherford Works is a job fair scheduled for 3-6 p.m. on Thursday, August 19, in the Pioneer Cellular Event Center on the SWOSU campus. It is being sponsored by The Southwestern student news site, and SWOSU Career Exploration and Dean of Students offices.
Interested employers can reserve a table at the Pioneer Cellular Event Center by contacting Heather Hummel at firstname.lastname@example.org or 580-774-3259 by 5 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 12. Those participating may bring any materials to distribute, as well as interview employee prospects on the spot.
The job fair is open to Custer County residents in addition to area college and high school students.
