Mars Wrigley’s Visit to SWOSU Out of this World

Representatives from Mars Wrigley, one of the world’s leading manufacturers of various candies and other products and located in

Topeka (KS) recently visited with Southwestern Oklahoma State University (SWOSU) engineering technology students on the Weatherford campus.

During the visit, SWOSU engineering technology alum Ryan Lawrence, a Mars value stream manager and Mike Heatwole, Mars supply excellence manager, discussed the benefits and opportunities that exist within the Mars organization. Lawrence and Heatwole said that Mars is actively recruiting for many different positions. 

The meeting was hosted by the SWOSU Society of Women Engineers (SWE) and the Society of Manufacturing Engineers (SME).  Students appreciated the information and enjoyed the variety of Mars candy that the representatives shared at the conclusion of the meeting.
