SWOSU Bull Pup Camps Planned Homecoming Saturday Morning for Area Youth
As part of Homecoming activities on Saturday, October 30, at Southwestern Oklahoma State University, several academic departments are planning fun, free activities for youngsters ages 8-12.
SWOSU Bull Pup Camps are an opportunity for area children ages 8-12 to enjoy activities in biology, chemistry, social sciences and physics. Participants can choose activities that fit their interests, according to SWOSU Chemistry Professor Dr. Trevor K. Ellis.
Youngsters are asked to arrive at the SWOSU clock tower area by 9:45 a.m. and will be divided into groups based on interest. At 10 a.m., the groups will disperse to the location of their activity. The camp will conclude at 12 noon, and the participants will return to the clock tower where they will be released to their parent or guardians.
Area residents will have plenty of time to attend the SWOSU Homecoming Parade in Weatherford Towne Centre at 1:30 p.m.
