Rush Twins, Odom and White Win Top Honors at SWOSU Student Talent Show

(From left) The Rush Twins (Austin Miller of Tuttle and Ryan Minden of Marlow), Garren Odom of Elk City and Amy White of Tipton were the top three winners at the recent Southwestern Oklahoma State University Bulldog Blitz Talent Show held on the Weatherford campus. The Rush Twins won first place and $1,000, Odom was second and winner of $500 and White took third place and $250.

The Rush Twins (Austin Miller of Tuttle and Ryan Minden of Marlow), Garren Odom of Elk City and Amy White of Tipton were the top winners at the recent Southwestern Oklahoma State University Bulldog Blitz Talent Show held on the Weatherford campus.

The Rush Twins performed an original beatboxing act and won first place and $1,000. Second place winner of $500 was Odom, who performed a Tae Kwon Do skit. White won third place and $250 for her solo performance of Stay by Rihanna.

Ten finalist acts performed at the show. The Collegiate Activities Board (CAB) and the Dean of Students office led by Jordan Selman sponsored the annual event and had nearly 30 acts tryout for the show.

At intermission, the crowd was entertained by a Chinese Dragon Dance performed by the Asian American Student Association at SWOSU.

Hosts for the evening were SWOSU 2022 Homecoming King and Queen Ryan Agyemang and Natalie Kinder.  Judges for the evening were Brian Adler, Taler Alexander, Lesley Alvarado, Kendra Brown, Todd Boyd, Eunice Lonebear and SWOSU President Dr. Diana Lovell.
