SWOSU Assistant Professor to Share Paleontological Discoveries from Tanis Site
Dr. Jeremy Klingler, assistant professor of biological sciences at Southwestern Oklahoma State University, will be the featured speaker at the J.D. Maness Biology Seminar Series on Monday, May 2, on the Weatherford campus.
Klingler will speak at 5 p.m. in Old Science Building 212 and will be sharing some paleontological discoveries he and his colleagues have made at the Tanis site in North Dakota. Their discoveries have been featured on several prominent media sites.
The public is invited, and admission is free.
His talk is entitled “The Last Day of the Cretaceous: Remarkable Insights from Tanis About the Early Hours of the Dinosaur Mass Extinction.”
