SWOSU Launches Digital Transcript Delivery

Southwestern Oklahoma State University (SWOSU) with locations in Weatherford, Sayre and Yukon recently partnered with Parchment, a digital credential service, to simplify the ordering and speed of delivery of transcripts.  This is the university’s first delivery system for electronic transcripts.

“We are delighted to bring this enormous improvement in service to our students and alumni,” SWOSU Registrar Jennifer Cook-Johns said. “Working with Parchment, we have a system that is convenient, efficient and supports university goals of sustainability.”

Students and alumni are now able to order transcripts for $8 each.  Digital transcripts will be sent electronically, and paper transcripts will be delivered by U.S. mail.  Additional fees may be required for rushed and international deliveries.

“Most orders placed before 3 p.m. on weekdays will be filled in the same day,” Cook-Johns said.  “In peak seasons such as immediately before or after a semester, fulfillment times may be slightly delayed.”

SWOSU Vice President for Student Services Dr. Adam Johnson said this service provides students and alumni with an expedited level of service to assist them with their pursuit of graduate school, scholarship and enrollment opportunities.
