The new members will receive their membership certificates and honor cords for their achievements in Italian, Spanish, American Sign Language and English as a second language.
After the ceremony, there will be a Q&A session, where the audience can ask questions to the new members and to the faculty about languages opportunities at SWOSU, benefits of learning foreign languages and how learning languages changed their lives.
The afternoon will end with Jon Woltz, systems & electronic resources librarian at the SWOSU Al Harris Library, who will show how to find online language resources at the SWOSU library database.
