SWOSU Students Rehearse for Concert with Enid Symphony

Douglas Newell, conductor of the Enid Symphony, directs a recent rehearsal of The Southwestern Singers, a select mixed choral ensemble at Southwestern Oklahoma State University. The Enid Symphony and Southwestern Singers will join efforts this Sunday, April 3, at 3 p.m. to perform the German Requiem by Johannes Brahms. The concert is at the First Baptist Church in Weatherford. Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for students. Skip Klingman, director of The Southwestern Singers, encourages everyone to attend this unique concert that will feature nearly 100 singers and 56 orchestral musicians.
