IT Internships Available for SWOSU Students


Southwestern Oklahoma State University in cooperation with the Oklahoma Center for Advancement of Science and Technology (OCAST) and CDF Associates, Inc. (CDFA), will be selecting two SWOSU students for internship positions at CDFA starting February 1.

Students interested in participating in this program should submit an application to the Center for Telemedicine and Web-based Distance Learning by January 25.

The selected interns will be students with an adequate background in information technology who have completed at least 60 credit hours of course work and have a grade point average above 2.80.

The interns will work in the CDFA office in Weatherford or at other sites in the area. The interns are expected to work on research projects related to the design and implementation of state-of-the-art information systems for health care applications, e-Government, data archiving and retrieval, and decision support in business organizations. Interns will be paid a stipend at the rate of $10 per hour.
