SWOSUpalooza is Coming Up April 13


The 7th annual SWOSUpalooza is coming up this Thursday, April 13, from 3-11 p.m. at Southwestern Oklahoma State University in Weatherford.

Many fun activities are planned in conjunction with the eight-hour live band concert, which is sponsored by the SWOSU Student Government Association. Admission is free, and the public is invited.

Seven bands will be featured at this year’s SWOSUpalooza, which has a new location on the SWOSU campus. Bands will perform live just south of Milam Stadium. Jessica Speegle, executive secretary of the SGA and one of two coordinators of the event, said the lineup of bands includes:

  • 3 p.m. Lights Out
  • 4 p.m. Evicted
  • 5 p.m. Hollow
  • 6:05 p.m. Solomonsplendor
  • 7:15 p.m. Falling Sideways
  • 8:30 p.m. Slingshot Method
  • 10 p.m. Fresh Sunday

Several campus organizations will have booths featuring food and informational items. There will be t-shirts on sale plus various prizes and giveaways.
