Webb Recieves NASA Grant
Southwestern Oklahoma State University senior Nathan Webb of Altus has been selected to receive a NASA Space Grant Scholarship. Congratulating Webb are Madeline Baugher (left), interim chair of the SWOSU Department of Computer Science & Information Systems, and SWOSU Web and Creative Services Manager Karen Wilson.

Nathan Webb, a senior computer science major from Altus, is the most recent Southwestern Oklahoma State University students to receive a NASA Space Grant Scholarship on the Weatherford campus.

Webb will help research and implement a new calendar of events on the SWOSU web site under the direction of SWOSU Web and Creative Services Manager Karen Wilson of Clinton. Webb will be involved in all stages of the project, from planning and creating the necessary code to testing and debugging the new system before transferring the project back to Wilson.

Webb has also agreed to volunteer 10 hours of his time to either the Stafford Air and Space Museum or another community service organization.

SWOSU is a member of the NASA Oklahoma Space Grant Consortium, which provides scholarship funds for students in science and technology areas at member institutions. SWOSU matches these funds with an equivalent amount of its own.
