Reagan Tuck and Addison Cate Duerksen, both of Weatherford, are serving as Oklahoma Stars for the current Miss SWOSU Bobbi Poff of Elk City.

Tuck, Duerksen and Poff will all be attending the Miss Oklahoma Contestant Day activities this Saturday, March 29, in Tulsa.

The Miss Oklahoma Organization created the program five years ago to expose girls ages 6-11 to outstanding young women as role models. Poff, along with the other Miss Oklahoma contestants, is committed to mentoring the young “stars.”

Tuck is the daughter of Shawn and Tina Tuck. She is a first-grader at Burcham Elementary, and her teacher is Phyllis Sterba. She has one brother, Connor. Reagan, 6, enjoys crafts, playing basketball, piano, and jumping on the trampoline.

Duerksen is the daughter of Jack and Kim Duerksen. She is a first-grade student of Sheryl Salisbury at Burcham Elementary. She has one sister, Lyndi Addison, 7, enjoys horses and dance.

This is the sixth year for the Miss SWOSU Pageant to have Oklahoma Stars. Previous ones were Alex Harrison in 2003, Ashton Folsom, 2004; Abby Smith, 2005; Hannah Henry and Kimberlyn Lancaster, 2006; and Ashlynn Karlin, 2007.
