SWOSU PLC Travels to Washington, D.C.

Southwestern Oklahoma State University’s President’s Leadership Class I recently visited Washington, D.C., as part of the program on the Weatherford campus. The students met with Senator Jim Inhofe, Congressman Frank Lucas, Congressman Dan Boren and Bruce Roberts, chief executive officer of the National Community Pharmacists Association. The students toured Washington, D.C., including such sites as the Capitol, White House, Holocaust Museum, Smithsonian Museum of Natural History, Ford’s Theater, Arlington National Cemetery, Lincoln Memorial, Vietnam Veterans Memorial, Korean War Veterans Memorial and the WW II Memorial.
