SWOSU Sax Quartet Plays Saturday at Oklahoma State Fair


Southwestern Oklahoma State University’s Silver and Gold Saxophone Quartet will play this Saturday, September 20, at the Oklahoma State Fair in Oklahoma City.

The quartet is scheduled to play from 1-2:30 p.m. on the outdoor Bandshell Stage.

Members of the quartet are:

  • Adriel Reynolds, Lawton – soprano saxophone
  • Michael DePew, Mustang – alto saxophone
  • Thomas Burns, Altus – tenor saxophone 
  • Josh Dodson, Perryton, TX – baritone saxophone

Keith Talley, assistant professor in the SWOSU Music Department, said the quartet is one of the music department’s better groups and will provide a mix of jazz and light classical music.

SWOSU also has a booth at the Oklahoma State Fair. The booth is located in the Cox Pavilion, and everyone is invited to stop by when attending the fair.
