Disposable Camera Drive Being Held at SWOSU

A disposable camera drive is being held during the month of January on the Southwestern Oklahoma State University campus in Weatherford.

The cameras will be used to create stalking safety kits for victims, according to Wendy Henson, coordinator of a violence prevention project on the SWOSU campus. Six Oklahoma regional universities-including SWOSU-implemented violence prevention programs on their campuses in 2008. SWOSU's program is called VIPER (Violence Intervention Prevention and Early Response).

Cameras can be donated in the VIPER office (Stafford Center 346) or the Dean of Students office (Stafford Center 214). For more information, contact Henson at 580.774.6037 or by email at wendy.henson@swosu.edu.
