SWOSU Hosting Crystal Darkness Watch Party This Tuesday

A "Crystal Darkness" watch party is planned this Tuesday, January 13, at Southwestern Oklahoma State University in Weatherford.

Graduate students in the Psychology Club and the Social Work Association are hosting the watch party during the "Crystal Darkness" campaign documentary, an anti-methamphetamine campaign.

The site of the watch party is the Al Harris Library Newsroom at 6:15 p.m. Refreshments and door prizes will be available. Those attending will have a chance to win an IPOD Shuffle, a DVD player or $20 Wal-Mart gift card.  Everyone is invited.

"Crystal Darkness Oklahoma," an anti-methamphetamine campaign, begins with the airing of the half-hour documentary underscoring the frightening truth about meth's devastating attack on youth and their families. "Crystal Darkness" is scheduled to air simultaneously on all local Oklahoma news channels this Tuesday at 6 p.m. in Spanish and 6:30 pm in English.

A panel discussion will follow the documentary to examine the possibilities for area communities to get involved in the Crystal Darkness campaign and help stop this deadly drug from affecting the children of Oklahoma.  For more information please contact Paul Fuentes with the Red Rock West Area Prevention Resource Center at 580.23-6021 ext 2284 or Terrica Grunewald at terrica.grunewald@swosu.edu.
