Dr. Joe Anna Hibler, former president of Southwestern Oklahoma State University, recently guided a group of SWOSU students through proper dining etiquette during a unique class session on the Weatherford campus.

The Everett Dobson School of Business and Technology offers a professional issues class that addresses many issues including business etiquette.  Dr. Patsy Parker, instructor of the course, said the course prepares students for real life issues,

"We cover resume writing, interviewing, and job searching in addition to topics such as professional dress, personal financial planning and personality profiles," Parker said.

Dr. Parker and the students invited several SWOSU administrators to join them at the luncheon.  As they dined, Dr. Hibler, who is currently chair of the Regional University System of Oklahoma Regents, explained the formal rules of dining etiquette and answered questions from the group.  Special guests included Dr. Blake Sonobe, Dr. Cindy Foust, Dr. Ken Rose, Dr. Larry McKee, Dr. Elizabeth Ferrell, John May and Dr. Les Crall.
