Airplane Toss and Camouflage Attire Planned for SWOSU Games Wednesday Night

SWOSU Students
SWOSU fans have the opportunity to win prizes at Wednesday's basketball games against the University of Central Oklahoma. One of the activities is an airplane toss challenge. Practicing their airplane tossing skills are SWOSU students (from left): Zak Sellers, Susana Opare and Bradley Oliver. The SWOSU women will play at 6 p.m. followed by the men at 8 p.m.

Several fun activities are planned by organizations during Southwestern Oklahoma State University's basketball games this Wednesday, February 10, against the University of Central Oklahoma in Weatherford.

The SWOSU orientation leaders are planning an airplane toss and the Collegiate Activities Board is encouraging everyone to wear camouflage attire. Prizes will be awarded for the most accurate airplane and the people wearing the best camouflage.

The OLs are hosting the "Toss It Challenge" at halftime of the SWOSU Lady Bulldog basketball game that begins at 6 p.m. Fans will be able to purchase paper to make airplanes for $1 a sheet. At halftime they will throw their planes from the baseline under each goal. The plane landing closest to the bulldog's nose at center court is the winner. The prize will be half of the profits from the contest, payable in Weatherford Chamber Bucks. The contest is open to all fans.

The proceeds from the sale of the paper will benefit the New Student Orientation program and the OLs to support leadership training activities. Contact the NSO Office at 580.774.3233 for more information.

The SWOSU men's game will begin at 8 p.m. and CAB will award the "best-dressed" camouflage winners at halftime.
