PBL Selling Wrist Bands to Raise Money for Conferences

The SWOSU chapter of Phi Beta Lambda (PBL) is selling SWOSU wrist bands to help offset the costs of attending state and national conferences later this year.

The wrist bands are $1.

In March, PBL members will attend the state conference in Norman, where they hope to continue SWOSU's trend of excellence in the competitions. Students who do well at the state conference will have the opportunity to attend the national conference this summer in Nashville, Tennessee. The students will spend a week learning, networking and competing on a national level against students from around the country.

PBL recently concluded its spring 2010 membership drive on the SWOSU campus. The organization added 12 new members to bring the total membership to 40 students.

PBL provides many opportunities for the students of SWOSU. It is an organization made up of students that are preparing for careers in the business world and gives them the opportunity to network, compete, travel and grow as a business professional.

For additional information about PBL or to purchase a wrist band, contact Kelsey Zybach, Kelsey Boone, faculty sponsors Dr. Tami Moser and Dr. Patsy Parker, or any other PBL member.
