SWOSU-Sayre Once Again Offers Night Classes in Elk City

SWOSU-Sayre is offering three night classes at Elk City High School for the upcoming fall semester.

Math Concepts will meet Monday nights. United States History is offered Tuesday nights and Principles of Financial Accounting will meet Thursday nights.  All three classes begin at 6 p.m. and will be taught by SWOSU-Sayre faculty.

"We're making college more convenient for working adults and other students," said SWOSU-Sayre instructor Landry Brewer. "Many students live and work in Elk City or nearby towns in directions opposite Sayre, so we're bringing the classes to them."

Adults and eligible high school juniors and seniors can benefit. High school seniors do not have to pay tuition if they have a certain minimum ACT score.

"This is a great way to get a jump on college and a career," Brewer said.

Night classes meet one night a week from mid-August until mid-December. For information about SWOSU-Sayre classes in Elk City or Sayre, contact the Registrar's Office at 580.928.5533.

Enrollment is underway for the fall semester. Classes begin August 18.
