Free Late-Night Breakfast Planned December 7 for SWOSU Students

President's Pancake Breakfast
Showing off some of the toys that have already been collected for the “Toys for Tots” campaign are SWOSU students (front from left) Garrett Boyer and Jamie Rice and (back from left) Caleb Koos, Cash Cooper, Brett Dickson and Cailyn Russell. Collegiate Activities Board, Mu Phi Epsilon and the U.S. Marines are hosting the "Toys for Tots" drive this Tuesday, December 7, during the SWOSU basketball games at 6 and 8 p.m. SWOSU students and area residents are encouraged to bring a toy to help a needy child. Also, one lucky SWOSU student who brings a toy will win a Wii and additional game set at halftime of the men's game.

All SWOSU students are invited to the annual free "President's Pancake Breakfast" this Tuesday, December 7, from 10 p.m. to 11:30 p.m. in the SWOSU cafeteria.

President Randy Beutler and the administrative council will be serving pancakes and sausage to students as a kick-off to finals week.  It is also the eve of President Beutler's Inauguration as the 17th president of SWOSU.

Cindy Dougherty, dean of students, reminds students that they do not have to be on a SWOSU meal plan to attend and enjoy the all-you-can-eat free feast.

Also going on that night are SWOSU women's and men's basketball games at 6 and 8 p.m. in Rankin Williams Fieldhouse. The U.S. Marine Corps, Mu Phi Epsilon and Collegiate Activities Board will be taking donations for Toys for Tots. All students who donate a toy and/or wear a Rankin Rowdies shirt will be eligible to win a Wii provided by CAB at halftime of the men's game.
