Tryouts Planned for SWOSU Mind Games Team

Southwestern Oklahoma State University students will soon compete against other Oklahoma universities in Mind Games, a buzzer quiz game based on knowledge in all academic fields.

Students will compete for cash scholarships in the contest, which will be televised on KSBI-TV.

Tryouts for the SWOSU team are on two consecutive Thursdays, September 8 and 15, at 6:30 p.m. in Stafford Center Room 110.  Organizer Kevin Collins said students are encouraged to try out, have fun, show off their knowledge and have a chance to earn cash prizes.

An informational and practice session is planned on Thursday, September 1, from 2:30 to 4 p.m.  in Campbell Building Room 204, and students who come to this meeting can learn about the game and practice it even though this session is not mandatory.
