SWOSU's First Mind Games Team Competition is This Wednesday


One of two Southwestern Oklahoma State University “Mind Games” teams will play its opening match against Southwestern Christian University this Wednesday, September 28, at 8:30 p.m. on KSBI-TV.  

Mind Games, an Oklahoma academic challenge that is a buzzer quiz game based on knowledge in all academic fields, is bringing together teams of students from Oklahoma colleges and universities in a weekly battle of the brains. Students will be competing for scholarship awards totaling $200,000.

Tryouts were held for the two SWOSU teams. Coach of the teams is Kevin Collins.

Members of the SWOSU Blue team that will play this week are: Zeke Mills, Springfield MO; Tanner Fisher, Calumet; and Kayla Argo, Plains KS. Alternate is Trent Boesen, Ninnekah.

The SWOSU White team that will play its first-round match on October 19 at 8:30 p.m. vs. East Central University.
