SWOSU Blue Team Wins Opening Mind Games Match


The SWOSU Blue team defeated Southwestern Christian University, 200-40, in the first round of Mind Games, a new academic quiz show that aired September 28 on KSBI-TV in Oklahoma City.

The SWOSU team won $2,250 in scholarship money and will advance to the 2nd round at a later date. Members of the SWOSU Blue team are: Zeke Mills, Springfield MO; Tanner Fisher, Calumet; and Kayla Argo, Plains KS. Alternate is Trent Boesen, Ninnekah.

Another SWOSU team, the White team, will play its first-round match on October 19 against East Central University.

Mind Games is an Oklahoma academic challenge that is a buzzer quiz game based on knowledge in all academic fields. The competition is bringing together teams of students from Oklahoma colleges and universities in a weekly battle of the brains. Students are competing for scholarship awards totaling $200,000.
